The self propelled STIHL RMA 460 V Battery Lawnmower has a steel mowing deck and features Vario-Drive self-propulsion which allows the operator to adjust the mowing speed to their requirements. This Lawn Mower also provides maximum versatility with 4 functions: Mowing, mulching, catching, and side discharge.

The RMA 460 V has automatic speed control (Eco mode) as well as a directly driven blade, these features are energy saving to ensure the best battery life. The handle height is adjustable to provide comfortable operation for all users.

The easy to use blade height adjustment allows you to adjust the height of the blade in 8 steps from as low as 25 mm. You will also benefit from the wide cutting width of 46 cm and the large 60 L textile catcher.

The RMA 460 V Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AK Cordless System range of tools with interchangeable Batteries - the Battery can be used in other tools in this range including a Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Line Trimmers and Chainsaw.

Easy to Use Height Adjustment

Achieve your desired lawn height due to the easy to use central cutting height adjustment. Change the height with one easy movement using the spring loaded lever.
ECO Mode Saves Battery Power

This feature increases or reduces the speed of the blade depending on the conditions, this allows you to get the most life from a single battery charge. This feature can be switched on or off.

Mulching Function (Standard)

Simply remove the grass catcher and insert the mulching key. After being mulched the clippings are evenly distributed over the lawn this reduces lawn thatch, and provides the lawn with nutrients.
Second Battery Slot

You can transport and store a second AP Battery on the Lawnmower for convenience.

Self Propelled

Self-propelled mowers will save you time and effort. The mower mechanically moves forward so less effort is required from you. The drive system on the RMA460 V is not subject to engine speed and is therefore completely independent from the blade. With a lever we can simply increase or decrease the forward drive speed on the go to suit your walking pace without altering the blade speed. The perfect cut, at the perfect pace!

FAQ'S

Q: What size garden will it mow?

A: With the recommended AK 30 Battery, this Lawnmower will mow approximately 300m² of lawn with one charge.

Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?

A: To fully charge an AK 30 Battery with an AL 101 charger, it takes 205 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 160 minutes.

Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the AK Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are three different batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 460, we recommend the higher capacity AK 30 battery, we do not recommend the AK 10 as the Lawnmower will not run for very long with this lower capacity battery.

Q: What Should I Wear?

A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

Q: How do I look after my Battery?

A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.
