Steady suction is ensured by featuring a specially designed ventilation opening in the collection bag. This allows air to escape while maintaining performance, irrespective of how full or dirty the bag is, guaranteeing a high work rate throughout operation.
    • Boost Function
Extra pressure on the trigger switch of your STIHL vacuum shredder immediately activates maximum suction force.
    • Collection Bag
Large 55 Litre bag, reduces the number of times it needs to be emptied.
    • Suction Tube Opening With Recesses
The recesses on the side of the suction pipe opening minimise the risk of sticking to the floor or to the vacuumed material.
    • Constant Power
STIHL cordless tools maintain consistent power throughout battery life due to intelligent electronics.
    FAQ'S

Q: Does the STIHL SHA 140 come without a battery and charger?

A: Yes, you can purchase the SHA 140 tool only

Q: How much garden waste can the SHA 140 collect?

A: The SHA 140 features a large 55-litre collection bag and durable metal shredding blades that reduce leaves, grass clippings and hedge trimmings as they are collected. This allows more debris to fit in the bag and reduces the number of times it needs to be emptied.

Q: Is the SHA 140 a blower and vacuum in one?

A: No. The SHA 140 is a dedicated shredder vacuum and does not include a blower function. It is designed to quickly collect and mulch garden debris for efficient clean-up.

Q: What is a STIHL laminate cell battery?

A: STIHL laminate cell batteries are the latest generation of STIHL lithium-ion battery technology, designed to provide more power, longer runtime and reduced weight for professional users.

Q: How is a laminate cell battery different from a standard lithium-ion battery?

A: Both use lithium-ion technology, but STIHL laminate cell batteries pack more energy into a lighter battery. That means more power and longer runtime without unnecessary weight, making your tool easier to handle during longer jobs. Laminate batteries can also minimises downtime, with the high-speed charging function, you can reach up to 80% battery power in just 9 minutes (with specific charger only).

    Q: What is the Warranty?

A: The SHA 140 comes with a 5-year domestic warranty or 3 year professional warranty and ongoing support from your local STIHL SHOP.
