Anti-vibration System

Ematic Chain Lubrication System

Single Master Control Lever

Easy Open Fuel and Oil Tanks

Special caps on the fuel and oil tanks allow for easy opening and refueling.
HD2 Filter

This air filter keeps even the finest dust away from the engine, which increases the service life of the engine. The HD2 filter element is made from a robust long life material that can be washed repeatedly. For best results we recommend the use of STIHL Varioclean and warm water.

STIHL Injection

The STIHL Injection system intelligently manages the operating performance of the engine. It is highly adaptive and will deliver optimal performance in all operating conditions.
Reduced Air Filter Maintenance

A pre-separation filter system is used to clean the air before it reaches the main air filter. The benefit is that maintenance of the machine is reduced.

Side Chain Tensioner

There is a tensioning screw on the side of the Chainsaw through the sprocket cover. This is easy to use and removes the need for contact with the sharp saw chain.
Controlled-delivery Oil Pump

Different bar lengths, wood types and sawing techniques require different amounts of oil. The controlled-delivery oil pump allows the user to select just the right amount of oil for the job.

Decompression Valve

The decompression valve, vents compression in the cylinder to reduce the cranking effort.
