Details

The STIHL FSA 45 Battery Line Trimmer is incredibly light, compact and easy to use for small garden trimming tasks. The mowing head can be turned on its side, which is particularly useful for vertical edge trimming.

STIHL Battery Line Trimmers are very simple to use, push the button and go! The FSA 45 has an integrated Lithium-Ion battery, that you charge like a cell phone (charger included). The high performing STIHL batteries offer consistent performance with no reduction in power as the battery depletes, zero emissions and are so quiet that ear protection is not required.

The FSA 45 is easy to control when trimming close to garden plants due to the loop handle configuration. The handle is also easily adjusted and the shaft is extendable to your preferred height. The FSA 45 comes with plastic Polycut blades, which are a breeze to replace.

This is a high quality Line Trimmer at a great price and to give you additional reassurance, it comes with a domestic 2-year warranty and you'll have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

Loop Handle

Adjustable Shaft

The shaft of the Line Trimmer is adjustable by up to 170mm. This means the length can be easily adapted to suit your height or the job you are doing.
Vertical Edge Trimming

The head of the Line Trimmer can be rotated to change the tool from a grass trimmer into a edger, then you can accurately trim around borders, flower beds and pathways.

Adjustable Loop Handle

It is possible to adjust the loop handle to 6 different settings, up to an angle of 120 degrees. This means you can set it to the most comfortable position for you.
Activation Key

If the activation key is removed, the tool cannot be started. This feature increases safety during storage or transport.

Charge Level Indicator

The charge level of the Battery is indicated with four LEDs on the side of the Battery.
Charger Cable

Using the charger cable you plug the tool in and charge it just like your phone.

Spare Blade Storage

The FSA 45 uses PolyCut blades, which can be easily replaced. Up to five spare blades can be stored on the tool, so they are right there whenever you need them.
Spacer Bracket Protects Plants

The metal spacer bracket protects your garden plants from being accidently trimmed. It can also be folded up if not needed.

A: The battery will last up to 20 minutes or mow up to 250m of lawn edges. This will depend on what is being cut and how the tool is being used.

A: To fully charge the battery it takes 300 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 210 minutes with the charging cable.

A: The Battery is integrated into the tool, so it is not interchangeable.

Looking after your machine

STIHL Battery tools are built to last but looking after your tool will extend it's life further. After using your Line Trimmer, use a damp cloth or soft brush to remove any dirt or grass clippings from the exterior of the tool.

Storing your Line Trimmer
