Effortless Precision: With the STIHL MSA 190 T, you'll experience the joy of making fine, precise cuts thanks to the high chain speed 20 m/s, and strong acceleration.

Ergonomic Excellence: The spiked bumper provides a secure grip on the wood, helping you make more precise cuts with greater control. The comfort ring makes it easy to attach and manoeuvre the chainsaw, improving handling and freedom of movement. For even greater comfort, the optional AP 2-in-1 Strap Adapter allows you to carry the battery on your belt, significantly reducing the weight of the saw in your hands.

Smart Connectivity: The STIHL MSA 190 T is ready for use with the STIHL Smart Connector, which transmits tool data via Bluetooth®, allowing you to access important information about the tool's status on your smartphone or tablet.

Side Chain Tensioning

The side-access chain tensioner makes it much more convenient for the user to adjust the saw chain as opposed to the typical location of the guide bar adjustment screw.

Fold-out Hook

The fold-out hook serves as a carrying rope attachment for lowering the arborist saw and for security. When it is pushed in, the hook doesn't get in the way while working or when the MSA 190 T is in storage.
Captive Bar Nut

When changing the cutting attachment, you will not risk dropping or losing the nuts.

Constant Power

Unlike other brands, STIHL cordless power tools maintain high performance even as the battery discharges. Intelligent electronics ensure your STIHL tool delivers constant power throughout your work.
Energy Recovery

The energy recovered during braking, when the throttle is released, is fed back into the battery and so extends its battery life. This does not affect the service life of the battery.

Cold Start Function

Batteries typically need to warm up in cold conditions, but with the cold start function, your tool is ready to go immediately, even at temperatures as low as -20°C, delivering nearly the same output as in ideal conditions.

Q: How long will the Battery last?

A: The recommended AP 200 P Battery will last up to 39 minutes or 200 cuts, this depends on what is being cut and how the tool is being used.

Q: Are the Batteries Interchangeable?

A: The MSA 190 T is compatible with the ALLPRO / AP batteries; however, we do not recommend the AP 20, AP 100 P or AP 200 S as the performance will be limited

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No, there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: What chain does it use?

Q: How is a laminate cell battery different from a standard lithium-ion battery?

A: Both use lithium-ion technology, but STIHL laminate cell batteries pack more energy into a lighter battery. That means more power and longer runtime without unnecessary weight, making your tool easier to handle during longer jobs. Laminate batteries can also minimises downtime, with the high-speed charging function, you can reach up to 80% battery power in just 9 minutes (with specific charger only).
