REFILLING THE STIHL AUTOCUT C 3-2 MOWING HEAD

Easily replace the trimmer line in your AutoCut C 3-2 by simply swapping out the spool with a pre-wound replacement. While more experienced users can opt to manually restring the line, replacing the entire spool is the most straightforward method.

  4. 4. The grooved parts on the white plastic sleeve must be slotted into the correct sections inside the head itself. See image below.

IS YOUR NYLON LINE BRITTLE AND HARD TO WORK WITH?

When Nylon Line is stored it can become brittle and difficult to work with, we recommend soaking the new mowing line in water for at least 24 hours before loading it in your Grass Trimmer. Hydrating the nylon line increases its elasticity. You can keep the mowing line wrapped around the reel and place it directly into the water.
