The STIHL HSA 45 Battery Hedge Trimmer is perfect for trimming hedges and shrubs in your garden. This is a high quality tool that is built to last at an affordable price. Battery tools provide maximum freedom to work with no cables to hold you back, and this tool is very lightweight so it is easy to manoeuvre and use for long periods at a time without tiring. The precision-ground blades deliver a neat cut.

You'll be amazed at how easy this Hedge Trimmer is to use - simply pop in the activation key, switch it on and go. It is also so quiet you do not need to wear ear protection. The HSA 45 has an integrated Lithium-Ion battery, that you charge like a cell phone (charger included). Q: How long does the battery last?

A: The 18 V battery will last up to 40 minutes or enough time to trim up to 80m² of hedges. This does depend on what is being cut and how the tool is being used.

Q: How long des it take to charge?

A: To fully charge the battery it takes 210 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 145 minutes.

Q: Will the blades need sharpening?

A: Keeping the blades sharp will give a neat cut on whatever you are trimming. If you notice that the blades are getting jammed easily or the machine is struggling, the blades may need sharpening. Our STIHL SHOP retailers can do this for you.

Q: Is the battery interchangeable?

A: The battery is integrated into the tool, so it is not interchangeable.

Q: What should I wear when using this tool?

A: We recommend that you wear snug-fitting clothes, eye protection, gloves and sturdy boots or shoes, and tie back long hair.

Q: Does this tool come with a warranty?

A: Yes - The HSA 45 comes with a 2-year domestic warranty.
