A: The AK 20 Battery will last up to 40 minutes or 160 cuts, this does depend on what is being cut and how the tool is being used.
Q: Are the Batteries Interchangeable?
A: There are three different interchangeable batteries in the AK range, which all have different capacities. We do not recommend the AK 10 battery for the MSA 70.

A: To fully charge an AK 20 Battery it takes 180 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 135 minutes with the AL 101 charger.
Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?
A: No, there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

A: Yes, the MSA 170 Battery Chainsaw comes with a domestic STIHL 2-year warranty.
