Using the STIHL HTA 50 Battery Pole Pruner you can tackle gardening jobs such as thinning out shrubs, pruning fruit trees or removing dangerous branches, all from the safety and comfort of the ground. The Pruner is 280 cm in length or 330 cm, if you purchase a shaft extension. You can transport and store this tool with ease because the shaft is detachable.
The chain is driven directly by the motor in the cutting head, this provides excellent torque for reliable cutting performance and also reduces weight and vibrations because there is no drive shaft.
The HTA 50 has side-mounted chain tensioning. It also features a branch hook for easy removal of cuttings in the tree canopy, to clear the way for pruning other branches. Equipped with a semi-transparent oil tank, you can keep an eye on the chain oil level during use.
