A: The FSA 140 comes with an AutoCut 27-2 mowing head, for which you can buy replacement line. This Brush Cutter can also take a blade.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No, there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: Are the batteries Interchangeable?

A: All tools in the STIHL ALLPRO Cordless System use the same batteries. For the FSA 140 R, we recommend the higher-capacity AP 300 P battery to deliver optimal performance and runtime. While smaller ALLPRO batteries are compatible, they may not provide enough power to get the best performance from the tool.

Q: Can I fit a metal blade?

A: The FSA 140 is compatible with selected STIHL brushcutting blades, making it suitable for tackling thicker grass, weeds and tougher vegetation when required

A: Very little. Unlike petrol brushcutters, there are no spark plugs, fuel filters or engine servicing requirements. Simply keep the cutting attachment in good condition and the tool clean for reliable operation. The protected air filter is designed to support long service life.
