2 n 1 Timmer and Edger: The STIHL FSA 50 can be converted from a grass trimmer to a lawn edge trimmer in just a few simple steps, without tools.

Easy, Comfortable Handling: The shaft length and loop handle adjust quickly without tools, and the mowing head angles into three positions so you can work comfortably at your height. Switching from trimming to edging takes only a few simple, tool‑free steps.

Precise, Clean Results: A flexible spacer bar folds up or down to protect trees, plants and hard surfaces while helping you maintain clean, accurate edges and tidy contours.

Smart Speed Control: Variable speed control lets you match power to the task. Using lower speeds reduces energy consumption and can extend battery life.

Convenient Cutting Options: Supplied with the AutoCut C 3‑2 head, the FSA 50 feeds line with a tap and can be refilled from the outside without opening the housing. The optional PolyCut 3‑2 head uses plastic blades that can be swapped out easily, also without tools.

Tips

Extending the life of your nylon

Before using your nylon line for the first time, it's a great idea to put in water and leave it to soak for 12–24 hours. This makes the line much more flexible and less likely to break.

Cleaning your machine

Once you've finished using your Line Trimmer, take the battery out and use a soft brush to remove any debris, and wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth.

Storing your Line Trimmer

Make sure your FSA 50 is kept in a dry, secure place with the battery removed when not in use. Keep this machine out of the reach of children.

When using your Line Trimmer

Because the FSA 50 uses an Autocut® mowing head, it is only suited for trimming grass. To avoid damage to the head, do not attempt to cut thicker material such as wood.
