    The STIHL BTA 140 Battery Earth Auger is a professional battery drilling tool designed for landscaping, horticulture, forestry, agriculture and construction. It drills holes up to 300 mm in diameter, making it ideal for installing posts, digging planting holes and drainage shafts, or creating small to medium foundations. Its balanced design allows comfortable and efficient one-person operation.

    Powerful Battery Performance: The efficient EC motor delivers smooth, reliable performance with low vibration and minimal wear. 

    Built for Tough Ground: Sharp drill bits and cutting blades allow the BTA 140 to drill effectively through a range of soil types, including stony ground.

    Choose the right setting for the job: Choose from three operating modes, with the selected mode clearly displayed on the integrated screen.

    1.Slow mode for controlled, low-kickback drilling
    2 Fast mode for tougher ground conditions
    3.Reverse mode to free jammed drill bits

    Comfortable One-Person Use: Excellent balance, a close-to-body drilling axis and a large cushioned support provide comfortable handling and precise control.

    STIHL QuickStop Safety System: If the drill bit becomes blocked, the QuickStop system automatically detects twisting forces and stops the drill. 

    Easy Storage and Transport: A practical transport bracket allows compact storage while helping protect the QuickStop system from impact.

    Built for Professional Conditions: Designed for daily professional use and bad weather. It is splashproof and tested to the IPX4 standard.

    The BTA 140 is sold as a Powerhead ONLY (Auger Sold Separately)
