Warranty

All STIHL products purchased online will be issued a STIHL warranty.

1. Tools used for home/farming applications receive a 2 year warranty. Double the warranty of your STIHL 2 MIX, STIHL 4 MIX® and STIHL 2 Stroke petrol tools purchased online to 4 years by adding HP Ultra Oil (minimum 1L) to your purchase.

2. Tools used in a professional application receive a 6 month warranty

Details

The STIHL GTA 30 handles a wide range of tasks, from tidying trees and shrubs to cutting timber for DIY projects. It cuts through thick branches (up to 15 cm diameter) with ease and makes firewood preparation simple. Its dual‑battery system provides extra power and supports a guide bar 5 cm longer than the GTA 26.

Tool‑Free Maintenance: Chain tensioning is quick and simple with the tool‑free system. Opening the chain sprocket cover and using the bright orange fold‑out tensioning lever lets you adjust the chain easily, making cleaning, reassembly, and replacements fast.

Serious Cutting Power: A powerful EC motor and STIHL 1/4" PM3 chain deliver clean, fast cuts. The lightweight Light 01 guide bar enables low‑vibration, precise cutting of branches up to 15 cm. The integrated sprocket nose reduces friction for better efficiency, and two AS 2 batteries provide extended runtime.

Designed for Comfort & Control: High‑visibility orange controls are easy to reach for both left‑ and right‑handed users. Rubberised, ergonomic handles ensure a secure grip in various cutting positions. The lightweight, slim design reduces fatigue, and the swinging protective hood adds extra safety.

Smart & Convenient Features: A clear LED charge display shows battery status at a glance, and the built‑in carrying ring allows neat, simple wall storage.
