Details

The RMA 510 is a wide body battery Lawnmower with all the power of a petrol model and none of the hassle. Starts at the push of a button, is low noise and produces no emissions, and there is also no need to store petrol. This mower provides maximum versatility with 4 functions: Mowing, mulching, catching, and side-discharge. The RMA 510 has a holding space for a second battery, providing the convenience of being able to swap batteries quickly and carry on mowing. Rough ground is no problem due to the large rear wheels. There is a large 75 L catcher bag and wide cutting width of 51cm, these features allow you to mow more lawn quicker.

The RMA 510 Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AP Cordless System - the battery can be used on a wide range of other tools from the AP range.

Easy to Use Height Adjustment

Achieve your desired lawn height due to the easy to use central cutting height adjustment. Change the height with one easy movement using the spring loaded lever.
ECO Mode Saves Battery Power

This feature increases or reduces the speed of the blade depending on the conditions, this allows you to get the most life from a single battery charge. This feature can be switched on or off.

Mulching Function (comes standard)

Simply remove the grass catcher and insert the mulching key. After being mulched the clippings are evenly distributed over the lawn this reduces lawn thatch, and provides the lawn with nutrients.
Second Battery Slot

You can transport and store a second AP Battery on the Lawnmower for convenience.

Foldable Handle Bar

FAQ'S

Q: What size garden will it mow?

A: With the recommended AP 300 Battery, this Lawnmower will mow a medium sized lawn of up to 280 m².

Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?

A: To fully charge an AP 300 Battery with an AL 300 charger, it takes 60 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 45 minutes.

Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the PRO Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are 4 different Batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 510, we recommend the larger capacity AP 300 Battery to provide more power, but you can use any of the other batteries in the AP range.

Q: What Should I Wear?

A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

Q: How do I look after my Battery?

A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.
