ErgoStart

STIHL ErgoStart (E) reduces the effort required to start the tool. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.
Manual Fuel Pump

When you push the button a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor. As a result the machine is easier to start.

Anti-vibration System

Vibrations from power tools can lead to negative effects on blood vessels. STIHL has developed a system for minimizing the levels. This also helps reduce operator fatigue and provides a more comfortable working experience.
Chain Lubrication System

A reservoir holds bar oil until it is picked up by the passing chain. This achieves maximum lubrication resulting in longer wear and less oil consumption.

Single Master Control Lever

Only one start position is required on the combi lever. Due to the stop function, once the machine is turned off the control lever immediately moves back to the operating position. This allows a warm machine to be restarted immediately.

Quick Chain Tensioner

Compensator

Like slicing through butter - a job made easy

I upgraded to this from my jobmate 16 inch (that served me well for years), and this thing was a breath of fresh air. After having to struggle to cut through some hard woods with the JobMate this thing made short work of it. The fuel efficiency is awesome, the ease of cleaning when your done is so good. It all meant I could get through **** of a lot more wood in the time spent in the yard. Context: I'm an amateur chainsawer, cutting wood reguarly for my property and fireplace. I bought it online, and while i expected a bit faster process for it to be ready for pick up, I was pleased that it was all assembled and ready for me to go when i did get it.

Great little saw

Ergo start makes it so easy. Cuts through trees like butter. Been struggling with a cheap electric chainsaw for ages. This is night and day. So glad I upgraded. Staff at Onehunga store are nice and helpful too.
