STIHL Injection

The electronic fuel injection control unit calculates the optimal fuel supply and ignition timing. Fuel is injected directly into the crankcase via the injection valve. Sensors measure air pressure and temperature, providing data to the control unit. This system delivers more power while maintaining similar weight and size compared to non-injection engines.
2 Mix Engine

With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels.

Magnesium Gaurd

Pre-Separation Air Filter System

STIHL's long-life air filtration systems with pre-separation significantly extends filter life compared to conventional systems. Incoming air is swirled, ejecting larger, heavier particles. The pre-cleaned air is then directed to the air filter through the pre-separator duct.

STIHL Anti-Vibration System

When using concrete saws you will feel vibrations, especially in the grip area. The STIHL anti-vibration system, with its buffer and spring elements, cuts down on these vibrations reaching your hands and body. This makes your tool more comfortable to hold and your work a lot less tiring.

Manual Decompression

The decompression valve makes it easier to start your tool. When starting, you can allow some of the compressed mixture to escape from the cylinder by opening the valve. This protects the start-up system and reduces the amount of force required on the starter cord.
Ergonomic Handle

With the ergonomic handle, you can maintain a firm grip on your tool and make precise cuts, even on very hard stone. The curved design provides an optimised grip position for better control.
