STIHL MS 500i CENTENNIAL EDITON - BALLOT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promoter is STIHL Limited with registered address 9 Bishop Brown Place and can be contacted at: customerservice@stihlshop.co.nz.
2. Ballot purpose
This ballot draw is conducted for the purpose of celebrating “100 Years of STIHL”
3. Ballot period
Starts 13 February 2026 and ends 31 August 2026. Entries received outside this period are invalid.
4. Eligibility
Open to New Zealand residents aged 18+. Employees of STIHL and STIHL SHOP and their immediate families are ineligible. One entry per person, STIHL may disqualify duplicate, invalid or fraudulent entries. Successful ballot winners will need to be able to pay $3,995 on the STIHL SHOP website.

6. Ballot Prize
The successful applicants will receive the right to purchase a MS 500 I Centennial Edition (“Chainsaw”) at the recommended retail price of $3,995. The Chainsaw comes with Powerhead, Bar and Chain.
To receive the Chainsaw, winners must be able to purchase the Chainsaw on the STIHL SHOP website for either Home Delivery or Click and collect from their local store and pay the recommended retail price of $3,995.
Payment and collection must be completed within 30 days of winners being announced or STIHL reserves the right to conduct a redraw or make the remaining saws available for purchase by the public.
The Chainsaw is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
There are 100 Chainsaws available in this ballot.
STIHL may substitute prizes of equal value if required.
7. Winner selection & verification
Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries on 1 September 2026 at the STIHL office and successful entries will be notified by email within 10 days.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, STIHL reserves the right to conduct a redraw or make the remaining saws available for purchase by the public.
STIHL will make 5 attempts to contact winners.
STIHL may request identity/eligibility verification from winners before awarding the prize.
8. Publication
By entering, winners agree to the publication of their name (and suburb/city) for reasonable publicity related to the ballot https://www.stihlshop.co.nz/privacy-policy
During the prize collection process, winners may be asked if they are willing to have their photo taken. Providing a photo is completely optional. If a winner agrees, STIHL may use the photo (or likeness) for promotional materials, social media posts, website content, and other media as appropriate.
9. Privacy
STIHL collects name, contact details, and any other required fields to administer this ballot and promotion. STIHL will store and use this information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and their Privacy Policy. https://www.stihlshop.co.nz/privacy-policy
You may request access to, and correction of, your personal information.
STIHL retains personal information only as long as necessary for the ballot and legal requirements, then securely delete or anonymise it.

10. General
STIHL reserves the right to disqualify invalid or fraudulent entries.
Entrants must ensure contact details are correct. All information provided by participants must be truthful and not misleading.
Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, STIHL is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of accepting/using the Chainsaw, except where caused by STIHL’s negligence or breach of law. This does not affect any rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If force majeure events occur (e.g., natural disaster), STIHL may suspend or cancel the ballot ad promotion, provided this does not unfairly disadvantage entrants and complies with applicable law.
Governing law: New Zealand law; courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction.
STIHL is not liable for lost, delayed, or corrupted entries.
STIHL's decisions are final.
