STIHL New Zealand Fathers Day Instagram Competition – Terms & Conditions
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of STIHL NZ, STIHL SHOP, their agencies, and immediate families.
The promotion runs from Monday 31st August 2026 to Thursday 3rd August 2026.
1 Winner will be chosen at random and awarded 1 x MSA 70 Battery Chainsaw Kit.
Winners will be contacted via Instagram comment and requested to send a direct message. If a winner does not respond within a reasonable timeframe (as determined by STIHL NZ), the prize will be forfeited and a new winner drawn.
- STIHL NZ’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- STIHL NZ reserves the right to amend, cancel, or reschedule this promotion at any time without notice.
- Entry is deemed consent for STIHL NZ to use winners’ names and photographs for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STIHL NZ and its employees will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or cost incurred directly or indirectly by entering or accepting a prize.
All entries remain the property of STIHL NZ and will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Entrants may request access to their personal information held by STIHL NZ.
STIHL SHOP Sunday Only Promotion – Terms & Conditions
Promotion Period
The promotion runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026. Entries are only valid for qualifying purchases made in-store on Sundays during this period.
Eligibility
Entry is open to customers who purchase a qualifying STIHL machine in-store at a participating STIHL SHOP on a Sunday during the promotion period.
Employee Exclusion
Employees, owners, and directors of STIHL Limited and participating STIHL SHOP stores, together with their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter this promotion.
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, immediate family includes a spouse, partner, parent, grandparent, child, sibling, or any person residing at the same address as the employee, owner, or director.
Qualifying Purchase
A qualifying purchase is any new STIHL machine sold with a unique STIHL serial number.

Entry Process
Customers will receive one (1) entry into the promotion when they purchase at least one qualifying STIHL machine in-store on a Sunday during the promotion period.
Only one entry per customer is permitted during the promotion period, regardless of the number of qualifying STIHL machines purchased.
This entry will be linked to the customer's purchase details recorded at the time of sale.
Prize
One (1) customer will win a STIHL Centennial Edition MS 500i Chainsaw.
Winner Selection Process
Following the close of the promotion, STIHL New Zealand will randomly select one participating STIHL SHOP from all eligible Sunday sales received nationwide.
The selected STIHL SHOP will then randomly draw one winning customer from its pool of eligible September Sunday sales entries.
Prize Collection
The prize must be collected from the STIHL SHOP where the winning entry was drawn, unless otherwise agreed by STIHL New Zealand.
Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the details provided at the time of purchase.
If the winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the initial contact attempt, STIHL New Zealand reserves the right to conduct a redraw and award the prize to another eligible entrant.
Prize Conditions
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Privacy
Personal information collected as part of this promotion will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and for STIHL New Zealand's normal business purposes, in accordance with STIHL New Zealand's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
General Conditions
STIHL New Zealand reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
STIHL New Zealand reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
Online Sales Exclusion
Only qualifying STIHL machines purchased in-store on a Sunday during the promotion period are eligible.
Online sales, click-and-collect orders, and phone orders are specifically excluded and will not qualify for entry.
Promoter
The promoter is STIHL Limited, New Zealand.
By participating in this promotion, entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.
