Warranty

All STIHL products purchased online will be issued a STIHL warranty.

1. Tools used for home/farming applications receive a 2 year warranty. Double the warranty of your STIHL 2 MIX, STIHL 4 MIX® and STIHL 2 Stroke petrol tools purchased online to 4 years by adding HP Ultra Oil (minimum 1L) to your purchase.

2. Tools used in a professional application receive a 6 month warranty

3. STIHL Polymer Bodied/decked Lawnmowers (domestic use) receive a 10 year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts) the handle and the catcher.

Details

The AK 10 36 V Lithium-Ion Battery runs the tools from the STIHL AK range and has a capacity of 72 Wh. Battery life depends on the tool type. There is a level indicator on the Battery so you can see when it's nearing time to charge. Inside the Battery there are sensors that shut down the machine if the Battery ever becomes too hot.

The AK 10 Battery weighs just 0.9kg so the tool won't feel too heavy to operate once the Battery is placed in.

Compatible with the AL 101, AL 301 Chargers

Charge time with AL 101 Charger: 95 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 70 minutes

Charge time with AL 301 Charger: 45 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 30 minutes

Battery life depends on the tool type. Refer to the battery run times listed on each tool or the run time chart below.
