    The robust STIHL RMA 460 Battery Lawnmower has a steel mowing deck and provides maximum versatility with 4 functions: Mowing, mulching, catching, and side discharge.

    The RMA 460 has automatic speed control (Eco mode) as well as a directly driven blade, these features are energy saving to ensure the best battery life. The handle height is easily adjustable to ensure comfortable operation for all users. 

    With a wide cutting width of 46cm and a large 60 L textile catcher you will get the lawns done in no time.

    The RMA 460 Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AK Cordless System range of tools with interchangeable Batteries - the Battery can be used in other tools in this range including a Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Line Trimmers and Chainsaw.

    Q: What size garden will it mow?

    A: With the AK 30 Battery, this Lawnmower will mow approximately 265m² of lawn with one charge.

    Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?

    A: To fully charge an AK 30 Battery with an AL 101 charger, it takes 205 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 160 minutes.

    Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

    A: Yes, all of the tools in the AK Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are three different batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 460, we recommend the higher capacity AK 20 or AK 30 battery, we do not recommend the AK 10 as the Lawnmower will not run for very long with this lower capacity battery.

    Q: What Should I Wear?

    A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

    Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

    A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

    Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

    A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

    Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

    A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

    Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

    A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

    Q: How do I look after my Battery?

    A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.
