Warranty

All STIHL products purchased online will be issued a STIHL warranty.

1. Tools used for home/farming applications receive a 2 year warranty. Double the warranty of your STIHL 2 MIX, STIHL 4 MIX® and STIHL 2 Stroke petrol tools purchased online to 4 years by adding HP Ultra Oil (minimum 1L) to your purchase.

2. Tools used in a professional application receive a 6 month warranty

3. STIHL Polymer Bodied/decked Lawnmowers (domestic use) receive a 10 year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts) the handle and the catcher.

Details

The AP 300 S is a 36 V Battery, it has a large capacity of 281 Wh. The AP 300 S can power all the tools in the AP range and will last approx. 25% longer than the AP 300. It also has a power to weight advantage over the AP 300.

The STIHL batteries run at full speed until the Battery is depleted so there is no gradual reduction in power. The AP 300 S can be charged approx. 1000 times, it also has sensors that shut down the machine if the Battery becomes too hot. Compatible with any STIHL Charger.

Charge time with AL 101 Standard Charger: 300 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 230 minutes

Charge time with AL 301 Fast Charger: 70 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 55 minutes

Charge time with AL 500 Super Fast Charger: 45 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 30 minutes

Noticeably improved performance over the AP300

Definitely notice the change in performance over the AP300 right from the get go. With the previous battery I would finish the lawn with a few minutes left one the battery. Now after finishing mowing the lawn I still have 2 bars of charge remaining to get on with other tasks without the need to re-charge first. Definitely worth the few extra bucks for me.
